What if I don't see the package I'm looking for or don't know which one to pick?No problem, let's talk! We can discuss your pet and your family. We are happy to help you find the package that will work for you. We can also customize a training program to fit your needs.

What does that certification mean?The International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC) issues the Certified Dog Behavior Consultant (CDBC) certification. Earning this certification requires: A minimum of four years and 500 hours of experience. 400 hours minimum of coursework, seminars, mentorships and other additional education in the IAABC Core Competencies A working knowledge of learning theory, counterconditioning, desensitization, training and husbandry, with additional in-depth knowledge of assessment skills and application of species-specific knowledge Three professional letters of recommendation Passing an extensive exam that includes definitions of terms and concepts, analysis of behavior case scenarios, and actual case studies from the applicant. Fear Free Certified Professional Animals are at their best when they feel at ease. Fear Free offers science-based, behavior-led strategies to prevent and reduce fear, anxiety, and stress for pets worldwide. To successfully complete the program and attain certification as a Fear Free animal trainer, all qualified registrants must: Pass each online module with a score of 80 percent or higher. Sign the Fear Free Pledge, a commitment to uphold a humane, emotionally protective code of conduct and ethical standard for pet care, training, and professionalism.

Can you administer the AKC Canine Good Citizen test?Yes! We can administer the AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test. If you need help preparing for the test, we can help with that too. If you are working towards having your dog become a therapy dog, this is a great start. We can also administer the AKC Urban CGC, AKC Community Canine and AKC Trick Dog title tests.
