Professional Pet Training

An in home consultation allows us to get to know you and your pup. We will  your dog's behavior and discuss your goals in order to create a specialized training plan for you and your dog. 

Are you welcoming a new puppy into your home and want to ensure they have the best start possible? The foundation you establish with your puppy will have a significant impact on the adult dog they will become. This 90-minute session is designed to equip you with the knowledge and tools needed to foster a positive and enriching environment for your new family member.

You’ll learn effective strategies for housebreaking and crate training, manage play biting, create daily routines, and understand proper nutrition and puppy-proofing techniques. Additionally, we’ll dedicate time to address any specific questions or concerns you might have about your new family member. To ensure ongoing success, this package includes a 30-minute follow-up phone or video call two weeks after your in-person session, allowing you to discuss any new challenges or developments that arise with your puppy. Written summary and other resources are included.

This training package is tailored for dogs aged 14 weeks and older. This is an ideal choice whether you have a puppy or an older dog who is ready to start learning basic manners or needs to brush up on their skills. Our six - 45 minute session program focuses on fostering a strong bond between dogs and their families while teaching a variety of skills. We train to the AKC Canine Good Citizen standard. You will learn and practice real world applications for the skills we teach. Text, phone and email support, clicker, treat bag, homework log and written summaries after each session are included.

Exercises include: Sit, Down, Sitting for greetings, Coming when called, Stay or Place, Leash manners and Impulse control. Additionally, we will address crucial topics including crate training, housebreaking, and managing chewing behavior. 

Reactivity is a common behavior issue that leaves many dog owners unsure of the steps to take to manage their reactive dogs. Our program is designed to help handlers improve their skills and build the confidence needed to navigate encounters with everyday triggers with a personalized program. We will meet for a 90 minute consultation followed by seven - 45 minute sessions. Participants will learn to recognize and respond appropriately to stimuli that may provoke their dog's reactivity. Your dog will be working to improve their coping skills in the presence of triggers that previously provoked their reactivity. Our Behavior Modification package will begin with a 90 minute  in home consultation where we conduct an in-depth behavioral assessment. We will customize a behavior modification plan that we will implement during our three - 45 minute follow up sessions. Our cat behavior consulting package its suitable for families who need help setting up your home for a new cat, adding enrichment to your cat’s life, litter box issues or carrier training. We will start with a 90 minute initial consultation where we will conduct an in-depth behavioral assessment. A customized behavior modification program will then be implemented in three - 45 minute follow up sessions.
